I've done something similar alredy.
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/User:Sir_On_The_Edge
At one point it was even called "Way of the Critical Scythe".
I've spent quite a bit of time finding the best way to increase survivability through critical hits. Seeing as yours is so simmilar to myne please leave your input in the discusion part of my page and if you like you can even send me your MSN. All help is apriciated .

These builds look really nice, the only thing (which is a shame) is no IAS skills :S. That's why a D/W will be better, or D/R apply poisin.

Oh finaly, some constructive critisism!!! (no sarcasm intended)
Please, I need to know what IAS is.
As to an educated gess at what you mean:
apply poisin - adds poison
Sharpen Daggers - adds bleeding
difference -> 1 pip
Edit: also were talking about critical hits being one of the best aspects about sythes and using that to the full, so an A/D would probably be better than a D/W and D/R in that respect

well: IAS = Increased Attack Speed
D/W - with frenzy
D/R - tigers fury/apply poison
etc
Sythes are SLOW as hell, in PvP you're gona need an IAS skill.

hmm, well with over 70% chance of hiting a critical I'm hopeing it will make up for the slow attack speed (same as hammer), also it can hit up to 3 at once so sometimes It'll be doing even more damadge.
Still, I do see your point. Prehaps they'll add one in the next expansion?

I've already posted the math of why critical scythe, critical ranger, critical axe etc suck. People keep ignoring that. Ooooh bleeding! Yay!

If your going to get agresive I'll react in a similar way, but in a way that makes you look silly:
"So you expect me to read the whole forum?"
On another note here's a thread where people think diferent about critical hits:

Have a nice day.

Fine, but I have read the A/R thread now that you mention it. I came to the conclusion that it could be done so much better if it was even more concentrated around critical hits, I can't fathom a build that would do things better than my build for the things my build was made to do.
In other words, barrage disables preparations and players have found 2 good alternatives. I can't see using an elementist secondary for a dervish as it's wepon is slow and has a higher gap between top and bottom damages. If anything you would need to compare it to the fairly popular A/W build but even that is very different as it uses a skill to attack multiple opponents where as my one does not need that elite and can probably do more.
I suppose only testing can tell but, I also want to point out that I have gone for survivability over damage, that’s not saying a 70% chance to make a critical hit and a virtually non removable bleeding doesn't do damage.
Also you may wish to look at the new skill called Assassin’s Remedy that removes a condition on a critical hit. I do not see your argument as valid. If anything you seem bias because you seem to have already made up your mind about builds based around critical hits.
Edit: as to your comment on the link not being relevent, I feel it is because I feel your very negative on builds based arround critical hit's and in the link there is a whole team based arround spiking with critical hits

I don't feel negative about critical hits, I just feel negative about spending so many attribute points to get some critical hits.
Before any further discussion. Are these builds solo PvE, general PvE or PvP??
